the Art of Jon Bon
Welcome to the strange and wonderful landscape of the mind of Jon Bonjour! If you're looking for normal art, look elsewhere. But if you're on the hunt for something strange and new, you're in the right place.
Please enjoy a selection of art from several projects
I have had the honor of working on!

Patreon Exclusive Art
As you can assume from the title, I can't really share too much of this art. Every month, I make and release an original piece of art for my Patreon supporters!
This is really where I get to explore techniques, designs, and ideas that I might not be able to in my comics or other projects. This started as an effort to appreciate those who support me, but it quickly became such a radiant source of joyous, expectation-free creativity!
You can enjoy all of them for as little as $1 by clicking on the button below!
Comics
My main running comic is Edge of Bordertown (which you can read in its entirety on the "Bordertown" tab, but I assume you knew that).
That said, I also have several ideas kicking around that I want to make happen someday. Everything from a horror comic to a whodunnit detective story, heck even a romantic comedy is on the table!
I love the medium of comics. It's such an engaging and approachable form of storytelling that I get to learn more about every day. There's something so cool about knowing that no matter what the idea is, there IS a way to make it come to life!
I just have to figure out how to do it.

Children's Books
I have had the honor of working with amazing children's fiction writers, helping make their ideas come to life!
As much as I love drawing weird, creepy monsters, there is an undeniable joy to creating something a little more wholesome and approachable!
Here are a few of the books I have illustrated:

Coffee Paintings
Every creative has that passion project hobby style of art that doesn't really fit with what they're trying to do career-wise, right?
Right?
Well I do anyway, and mine is painting with coffee! I discovered it on a flight when I realized I hadn't brought any of my alcohol markers with me and I wanted to color a sketch. I looked down and saw my tiny and also very bad cup of coffee and, well... the rest is history, as they say!
It creates such a warm, calming energy to the peices that I just can't get enough of. It's not really a career-maker. But it sure is a lot of fun!
